Boxing Gloves History......

A5Y0BTBurl][url][https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Boxing ... .l2649/url]Back prior to 1948 boxing gloves were 6 ounces, but that means the horse hair was 6 ounces, the rest of the glove is not included in that weight. Does anyone know if this is correct? After 1948 boxing gloves went up to 8 ounces then in 1968 up to 10 ounces for 154 pounds or above.........Can anyone correct this? ..please post...........
