He's well worth keeping an eye on. A big powerful guy who can box. I'd like to see him fight Ruann Visser but they are stable-mates I believe, so that might make it unlikely. I don't know. There aren't too many decent opponents in Africa and those who are (of decent quality) have ambitions of their own which may not include taking on the intimidating Ukrainian at this early stage.

Hard to say really as his opposition so far has been horrendous. The last guy he fought looked like he'd been dragged from the crowd. People criticise Dubois level of opposition but his opposition has been about 3-4 levels above Sirenko's at this stage.

We could eventually see that in a few years if both men continue to develop their promising potential. Maybe but I don't know how long Sirenko plans to remain in Africa. While there, fighting Ajagba makes sense at least geographically, but when they are back on separate continents, a match between them would only seem logical were it a title fight, or more likely a title eliminator.

Yeah, I dont expect them to fight any time soon. Ajagba is based in the US and will probably never fight in Nigeria (or anywhere else in Africa), much like Ike Ibeabuchi, Sam Peter and most likely Anthony Joshua (who has yet to even visit his ancestral homeland since turning pro).candyslim wrote: ↑28 May 2018, 03:20 Maybe but I don't know how long Sirenko plans to remain in Africa. Even if Sirenko becomes a world champ it's unlikely he would have a MAJOR world title defense in South Africa.

I knew Ilunga was based in Scotland but I hadn't realized Ajagba had gone to the States. Maybe they (Sirenko and Ajagba)could fight there in an eliminator one day in the the not too distant.
