Michael Gomez v Leva Kirakosayan

Could this be a tougher fight than Gomez expects? He's flying high at the moment, and probably thinks himself invincible right about now...

But this Russian might be a puncher. He took out Giuseppe Lauri in three rounds in Italy last year, knocking him down twice.
In 36 fights, only Hatton and Witter have stopped the Italian ( who's won his last 6 fights since losing to Leva ) so maybe this Russian has a surprise in store for the home fans?

Logic says Gomez in around 5 rounds, but he better not be looking past this one....

nice bit of knowledge there!!!
looks like he also stopped a guy in six who went 4 rounds and lost on points to Monteiro.

his three losses were against opponents who have yet to lose also.

if the odds are good then its worth a flutter!!!

remember whilst getting mauled Arthur nearly had Gomez over

Well I have to admit, I'd never heard of the guy before. Just checked his record here though, and he looks a bit better than the usual Warren stiff they bring over for his WBU boys.
He's oddly listed as a lightweight, but most of his fights seem to have been at 140 - maybe the SN tactic of forcing the opponent to boil down a bit?
Cant' see any odds at moment.

The Russian looks rugged and tough for sure - but how much notice have they given him? About a week.
