Ancajas defends his IBF Super Flyweight title against fellow Filipino Sultan in the bill topper on the Yafai/Cardona card this Saturday, I love watching Ancajas he's fast becoming one of my favourite fighters to watch, he does remind you of a young Pacquiao, small, quick explosive southpaw, Ancajas looks a patient fighter as well which is something the really top fighters have in abundance, he looked really good again last time out KO'n Gonzalez in the 10th in a fight he dominated


Cant say ive heard of Sultan but he's coming off a decision win over Casimero who destroyed Edwards, that's good form coming in

I’m not sold on Ancajas.

I’m got a few quid on Sultan scraping a Points win.

Poor fight that. I had it a slightly closer 116-113, I didn't think Ancajas was as good as Macklin was making out, the fight looked like a sparring session an Ancajas looked a bit one paced and never tried to work the body, Sultan landed the big eye catching shots but nowhere near enough, every round was the same apart from the last where a fight nearly broke out

I thought Ancajas boxed well. Not as exciting as normal but very well.

His footwork was very good and he made Sultan look very ordinary.

He’s also getting bigger at the weight. Let’s not forget how malnourished he was in The Philippines. Probably eating properly for the first time in his life. I can see him going up the divisions soon.
I’d favour Ancajas over Yafai.
