Comments by Frank Maloney on Internet Anoraks

I found his comments on Britshboxing.net. (20th September)
Any comments he said in general that he found it amusing that "anoraks"
can pass judgement on pro's and that most know very little about the game and that they "wouldn't know a left hook from a fish hook" any comments on these comments.
He did not name any forums by name but someting tells me this one may have been on his mind.

He just says stuff like that for a laugh. He knows it winds certain folks up. I doubt he was aiming it at this forum.

On any forum there will be posters who have limited knowledge on Boxing.
However many forums including Boxrec.com have many extremely knowledgable posters who have a great and wide knowledge about the sport.
On this Forum we have active and ex fighters who post here often and they certainly know 'the difference between a left hook and a fishing hook' as Mr Maloney puts it.
There are also many Boxing writers and fans etc who also have great Boxing knowledge who post here, many IMO
really know what they are talking about.
Mr Maloney needs to remember that it's us fan/anoraks and our love for the sport throught buying tickets, PPV, SKY, memorablia, magazines etc etc that keeps the sport that puts a roof over his head alive.

What you actually do drink water from time to time then J?
Maloney is a born comedian, his performance during the interview after Kevin Mitchell's last fight was sheer brilliance. What's that? He was actually being serious? Oh dear..

Well, anyone who takes any remark seriously from someone who said Scott Harrison has what it takes to be the best ever fighter from the UK should go around with the hood from their anorak well and truly up in a Kenny stylee!
