What If ? Vitali Klitschko vrs Hasim Rahman (Nov.12.2005)

The probleem with Rahman was that he was very basic, slow and predictable. Even that big right hand that knocked out Lennox Lewis - Lewis saw it very well (just wasn't able to avoid it). That's why 40-years-old Holyfield kicked his ass. I believe thare weren't a single piont of both men's life when Rahman would stand a chance of beating Holyfield. If old, washed up Holyfield beat prime Rahman, so would a younger version do but even easier. And at 40 (against Povetkin) Rahman looked like 70-years-old man - he could barely move. Holyfield looked much better at 46-48. As for Vitali, I think he would stop Rahmn in 8-10 rounds.jamamb wrote: ↑29 May 2018, 19:07 well around this time rahman drew with toney and got stopped by maskaev, id think vitali wouldve probably won a decision
rahman was at his best a few years earlier i think, not only the lewis ko but totally clowning tua and also showing some grit to ko the cult like figure sanders. i think rahman while no great shakes is a bit underrated tbh. good power in that right hand and a pretty stiff jab
on the other hand vitalis one of the most overrated in years
