Reece Bellotti vs Ryan Doyle

Bellotti defends his Commonwealth Featherweight title on the Watkins/Okolie card this Wednesday, I like Bellotti he's good value and can bang, Cunningham showed he can be outboxed but he's tenacious as fvck and whips they shots to head and body with real spite, he done a number on Jones last time out
I haven't seen much of Doyle, he's been stopped twice, once to Ian Bailey which he avenged and Tennyson stopped him as well, he also has a draw with Isaac Lowe which is decent
I just feel if Doyle has been stopped before then Bellotti should stop him as well, hope its a good un though, Bellotti vs the winner of the Walsh/Lowe rematch would be the next logical step if he comes through this one

This could well be fight of the night Wednesday and it’s nice to see Doyle given a decent opportunity.
His draw with Isaac Lowe was a toe to toe war and could have easily gone either way .
The Tennyson fight was taken at extremely short notice to save a televised fight and he started that well before the of lack of preparation took its toll.
This time I believe he’s had proper notice so there will be no excuse and I expect him to perform well.
He’s currently about 6/1 which I believe could be incredible value.

Good spot did you put money on ?
I'm sure you were one of the few ( along with me) who picked Warrington against Selby as well.

What a fight that was and what a win for Doyle, crazy odds, I had no problem with Howard Foster as he was just about to jump in after Bellotti's legs went after that right hand but when Bellotti went down, I think most top refs would've then just gave a count to see if Bellotti coudve regained his senses, pretty gutted about that ending
Still what a war though Doyle looked much bigger and stronger than Bellotti and his punches seemed to have more effect, Bellotti's gameplan suited Doyle to the ground and Bellotti shipped some big shots, he took a lot of big punches well Bellotti and caught Doyle with some big shots of his own but they they weren't gonna stop Doyle from punching
Great win for Doyle but Bellotti definitely has to wind in his style. he's far too reckless

Quality fight credit to Ryan Doyle always love away fighters from the small hall scenes coming out on top.
Some top fighters have been commonwealth featherweight champion as well.
Josh Warrington, Lee Selby, Nicky Cook, Scott Harrison, Paul Ingle and the great Azumah Nelson.

Not really a gambling man but this morning took a small bet at 8/1 and that’s truly crazy odds in a two horse race.
I love the North West small hall scene and regularly attend Steve Woods Vip shows watching the development of young boxers so I know Doyle can be a handful . The big difference on this occasion was he was given decent notice and time off work to adequately prepare.
The Tennyson fight was taken at 4 days notice whilst at work !
There was some right sh*te on here with regards to my comments on Warrington but having followed his career closely it was truly great to be ringside when he proved so many so called experts and punters wrong.
My best night so far was Terry Flanagan’s prizefighter win ...the Most competitive of those nights when it included Ant Crolla , Derry Mathews , Gary Sykes and Tommy Coyle ...I think that was 12/1 !! .
