his draw vs tommy bowen was a total gift to him. shameful scorecard from robert willliams, every time i see williams now i think of how he gifted carmen and couldnt find it in himself to give a fair card to bowen. bowen fought his heart out and deserved a win, carmen didnt like being under fire at all

that was the only time i saw carmen. not impressive at all there. maybe he was better other fights.

He was a nice lad. His Dad promoted him and was very, very generous with his payments of boxers and officials alike.
I'll say no more than that.

Wouldn't wanna spread Careless Whispers but I think lad may have lost Faith.

No, although only 22 so plenty of time.

His dad was a very good fighter, a southpaw with plenty of grit. I can still see him rushing to ringside to shake Michael Sprott's hand after Sprotty had just chinned Audley.
