And which heavyweight boxers have been extremely talented but never lucky enough to win a heavyweight world title?

When we talk about top fighters without World championships, Tua, Ruddock and Golota are in the first row in my mind.

Tua was one-dimensional, but he was skilled in that his dimension. He had good scalps. Maybe he could have done it in some other time. And absolutely the same can be said about Donovan Ruddock.

Some might disagree here, but I name Golota a solid competitor of a championship level at least physically, if not mentally. He had his ups and terrible downs, but he was real deal despite those downs. Furthermore, Ruiz and Byrd very arguably won Golota in the title bouts.

Povetkin can join this list and I hope, he will somehow manage not to do it.

In my lifetime.... Bert Cooper.... Was probably the quintessential spoiler in the Heavyweight division... On any given night he could make anyone look like absolute dogshit, including world champions.
