(WBO welterweight title)

Horn first weighed 148 pounds. He then stripped and weighed 147.5. He has an hour to lose the weight.

Any thoughts?

Just the start of a very bad weekend for Horn.

He'll be leaving without his controversially earned world title belt too.

Handy excuse when he's finished getting pummeled.

He can no longer make welter comfortably and simply felt weak and drained when he stepped into the ring.

Ok, Horn just made weight at 147 lbs.

He will not lose his WBO title belt on the scales.

Then we have a fight.

Albeit a short, one sided fight.

Horn now saying that he wasn't really overweight. It was TR playing "tricks" by apparently tampering with the scales.

The champion has really been milking this "everyone here is against me and trying to make certain I lose" routine.

It's the kind of attitude that indicates that Horn has little confidence in his ability to beat Crawford, and is attempting to blame his upcoming defeat on forces he can't control.

To be fair to Horn, (almost) everyone there does want him to lose, not least the Promoter.

Arum has wanted Pacquiao vs Crawford for a long time as a passing of the torch ceremony.

But Horn ruined that plan out in Oz. No doubt Arum wants to see him get a beating for his insolence.

Yes, Arum does want Horn to lose.

He has a star in Crawford under contract while Horn is a free agent after tonight.

It makes sense that Arum is pulling for Crawford.

But Horn is really going overboard in trying to constantly convince the world that the "fix is in."

If he loses badly tonight he'll insist that he just wasn't "mentally there" because he figured he couldn't beat boxing politics.

But Crawford won't need any skulldugerry by TR to blow away Horn tonight.

I believe Horn will be blaming the referee a lot tonight too, for not allowing his bullshit fouling. The "Hornet" essentially starved himself to fly across the world, starve a lil longer, take a terrible public beating, and hand deliver the title he had no business touching in the first place.
