I believe horn will move up to 154 maybe Zerafa or a Mundine fight next ??

As he was ouclassed and absorbed some good punishment, he needs a fight off the higher competetion. Talking about his further perspective in his current division I'm not sure he will provide solid counteraction to the best guys there. Actually next division isn't likely to be a much easier call for the current moment, but also taking ino consideration Horn's weigh-cut troubles he should probably move up.

Horn is a world class fighter fighting in a division (welterweight) that is stacked with elite fighters. His best bet is to move up to LMW, so that weight draining isn't taking such a toll on him. On the business side of things though, he should take a catch-weight fight with Mundine at SMW to earn some decent coin before knuckling down at LMW.

I don't see any point Horn moving up a division. Most fighters battle to make weight and Horn is no exception.

There is little in a Zerafa fight for Horn, and fighting Mundine represents only a pay day. It is otherwise a no win fight for him.

If Dean Lonergan, Glenn Rushton and Jeff Horn himself are as astute as I think they are they will wait until the dust settles on this loss and make a smart decision in the cold light of day.

Stadium fight vs anthony mundine in aus. even with there differences in weight i feel it can be made because its a good pay day for both of them. then probably settle into 154 or retire, Doubt he will ever get back to world title levle though to be honest.

If Lonergan is worth his salt as a manager, he negotiates with Choc for a decent payday for Horn, then looks at going matching horn at 154lb.

Horn has the opportunity to make some decent coin here while he is still reasonably "hot" in Australia. If Lonergan sends him over to the USA to fight another well known, established fighter that isn't Manny Pacqiaou, Horn gets paid peanuts, cops another beating, then losses his pulling power for a big money fight with Mundine.

There wouldn't be too many Aussie fighters who weren't envious of what Duco and Lonegran have been able to do with Jeff Horn.

Horns been managed well so far, but i think missing the mundine fight would be a huge mistake. and i think this is the last oppertunity, mundine is old but the most known boxer in aus. horn is a household name but not for long. its always hard to tell but look at the crazy purses for mundine green. I dont think mundine horn is quite as big, but it could be made into a big payday. he will make 10 times more fighting mundine than anyone else out there.

i agree, from a career perspective mundine seems like an excellent fight, good reward and publicity for really not much risk. it would be an excellent fight after a hard one vs crawford. do mundine and then on with your 154 campaign

Mundine Horn won't cause a blip on the radar overseas but it might be a million each. Take the money Jeff. If you lose you were never going to make your fortune in the states and if you win it can't hurt.

As of this moment he's still a Top 10 guy at Welterweight, but I don't know how much longer he'll stay there. If a fight with Mundine would be a big attraction in Australia he should definitely take that fight because I think he'd win pretty easy. Mundine's old news, and was never overly impressive to begin with. Horn would be too rough, and aggressive for him at this stage.

Mundine would have the size advantage, but that's about it, every other advantage is in Horn's favor.

Honestly I think a great deal of the other Top 10 or 15 guys at Welterweight would be too much for Horn.

Definitely a fair call there. It just frustrates me that Horn has the opportunity to earn some relatively easy (and I'm a massive Mundine fan) coin, and Lonergan is carrying on like this. There's that little bit in me that is hoping he is just trying to build it up.

But a Mundine fight has to come under consideration from them just because of the money it would bring.

dont see how would hurt too much in the scheme of things . would be a big aus match and on the global scene doubt many would care ether way. beat mundne for good money then onto your 154 career. cant really see how horn would be worse off for havng fought mundne.

loads of guys have a soft fght between tougher fghts anyway, horn would be fine and his wallet would be a lot heavier

after pac and crawford hes earned a big money for lower risk fight imo

Bugger it, fight Mundine and take the cash.

Then try and line up a Top-10 opponent and try and build your name back up. Or Manny rematch.

If he loses either fight - he still got paid. If he takes a ranked opponent first and loses, he loses the cash opportunity Mundine offers.

As a side note, I don't think a Mundine fight does anything for Jeff's career. But it offers a lot of cash.

Mundine next is a no-brainer. I read the other day that both men stand to make as much as 4 million a piece and Horn has probably a 90% chance of winning...

Horn-Mundine is already in negotiation.

Glen Rushton estimates Horn v Mundine will turnover 8 to 10 million dollars.
