Joseph Parker will now fight Dillian Whyte at the O2 Arena on July 28th after it looked likely he would fight in the US against Bryant Jennings.

The winner of the Joseph Parker vs Dillian Whyte fight will take away 2 belts - the vacant WBO International title and the WBC Silver title Whyte successfully defended against Lucas Browne, in March.
So, theoretically at least, the winner will be in a prime position to challenge either Joshua, via the WBO, or Wilder, via the WBC.

Parker was a tad disappointing. But that headbutt knock down was a bit of a game changer. Going forward Parker needs to be more assertive throughout his fights. Like he was in the final few rounds here.
Meanwhile Whyte remains a crude but effective wild card. He could do some damage along the way given the opportunity.

Tough day, thought Parker would win this easy against a guy who is essentially a brawler, fighting like a nightclub bouncer. tough day indeed.

Just got around to watching it.
That was a fun fight wouldn't mind see those two do it again.
Parker was breathing with his mouth open in the second round.
Cardio, cardio, cardio.
He was the better boxer, better athlete and had a huge hand speed advantage, imo a Parker with improved stamina wins that fight wide.
Parker with improved stamina can also keep his hands up more.
Get tired and stand in front of Wilder with your hands down.....
I scored it 113-112 Whyte.
As for the head-butt, I knew a head-butt was coming at some point and still missed it, I thought he was tripped/shouldered which still isn't a legit KD but I can't be critical of the ref for missing the butt when I did too.
