burtons won at english level before , couldnt he at least fight someone like ricky summers or the international equivalent

Don't think he has a promoter? Think that has been behind his poor opponents, gets chucked on the odd Matchroom bill in Manchester against a cheap low level opponent. He could do with the Buglioni rematch.

Has he been offered anything? Yarde should have fought someone like Burton by now.

If Buatsi beats Summers convincingly then Burton would be a good step up after that.

He's been on plenty of Matchroom bills and works with Joe Gallagher so you'd expect him to be looked after fairly well. Probably just always seen as more of an undercard filler for the Manchester shows topped by Crolla and Quigg. They seemed to have dried up now though so Burton is an afterthought for Eddie.

all hes done since this thread was made last year was fight the boxrec #745 (no in last 5 years) and the boxrec #845 (1 win in last 4 years)
