With Stevenson you can't be sure.

Why not a Jack rematch?

Jack can get beat by Gvozdyk after Gvozdyk beats the sh*t out of Stevenson.

I'm fine with not seeing a rematch if Jack can't decisively beat a Stevenson that's ready to be taken. Gvozdyk damn sure will.

I expect a step aside fee to be offered.

I can't see this fight actually happening.

Then it's on Gvozdyk to reject it, and demand the fight.

Stevenson is there for the taking. Beating him now, elevates Gvozdyk to another level. A step-aside, followed by winning the vacant belt after Adonis retires? Not so much...

Gvozdyk is an idiot if he doesn't stand his ground.

with how vulnerable adonis looked last fight i can see a step aside being declined, it really does seem like a good time to beat him now. but well see

I hope Gvozdyk doesn't take the step-aside money. Jack had his chance and completely blew it. Gvozdyk will finish Stevenson. Jack can face Gvozdyk afterwards and get stopped.

Egis Klimas has come out and said they will NOT be accepting any step aside fee.

And that the fight is next, he wants it sorted.

Of course, a very high number could change his opinion, but I doubt that anybody will want to invest much into Stevenson or Jack, because they will be beaten soon after that.

Can not wait for this. I wish is was much sooner. But this is PBC and Adonis Stevenson we are talking about.

Adonis is there for the taking.

No doubt Gvozdyk has to turn up going for the KO

What is with these horrendously long layoffs. FFS, November!? Should be a lot sooner. It's not like either guy took an absolute beating their last fights. Other than a few rounds or so, Stevenson/Jack was more wrestling and low-blow contest.

Come on man, it's a positively hectic year for Chickenson!
This will be his SECOND fight in one calendar year. That's a record for him- if it happens.

its a good fight, i feel like adonis might be at a vulnerable point now, could be there for the beating but hes always been a major puncher and gvozdyk can be upright and did get dropped by karpency.

i can see a case for each guy and im excited for it if its happening

Chickenson has more than enough time to get "injured" if Haymon succeeds influencing WBC to allow Jack rematch.

That was at the back of my mind too. I didn't dare mention it. But we have seen in the past that whatever rules or statements by the WBC regarding Chickenson, what actually happens isn't in accordance with anything other than what AL wants.

I'd almost rather Stevenson continue his amazing run without ever facing a mandatory until he's 50. Not long to go now. Why mess with it?
