Carlos Monzon, a different?

Post by NYDominican »

Throughout Carlos Monzon's professional boxing career. ------ Carlos dominated the Middleweight Division.

1. Had Monzon fought in any of the decades from 1900 till late 1962.

Do you think that Carlos would have dominated?

2. Had Monzon fought in any of the decades from early 1978 till now?

Do you think that Carlos would have dominated?

3. Do you think that Carlos Monzon was such a very great boxer, that he was almost totally unbeatable?

By seeing fight on film, I think he would have dominated any era to tell you the truth. King Carlos was as good as it gets. I don't know about him being unbeatable. He at least lost 3 fights, but avenged them all.

He lost only at the early stages of his career, he obviously was growing then and hadn't reached his prime yet. While in his prime, yes, he looked close to being invincible. I name him the greatest MW ever and I also think, that he would have been dominant in any era.
