Spence looks so strong and durable. I really doubt there is somebody atm at 147 to give him serious troubles. Crawford is very skilled but I don't see him to beat a force like Spence.

Bring on Crawford, Thurman, Garcia or Porter. Other fights are meaningless. If these guys dont want to fight him, step up to 154

My guess he fights the Alexander/Berto winner this year. Hopefully the Garcia/Porter winner in early 19.

Fully aggree. Only the guys you mentioned for soence, the rest is too damn easy.

Like i said, crawfords weak body wont be able to absorb those shots. Also he got often tomes cliped by weak non puncher horn, what would happen if elite punchers like soence n thurman clip him. Spence tkos crawford, more likly uds him cause crawford will run.

Vargas or Alexander could be in line for Spence.

i fear spence isnt gonna accomplish nearly as much as his talent would let him. its important for him to become a big money fighter so theres more reward involved for his opponents. he makes his opponents pay so they are gonna want a lot of pay

otherwise it might just be more guys like ocampo (mandatory with little other big opportunities) and peterson (2nd tier guy whose been around a long time and doesnt have much better options)

the alexander/berto winner would be like peterson, but probably worse at this point.

Probably Spence is gonna be avoided by top fighters but at least he's the younger one. Most likely Porter-Garcia winner is gonna fight Thurman and Crawford is gonna fight Pac/Matthysse winner or Khan.

Pacquiao supposedly wants to fight Crawford.

Arum says he would advise against it. He would prefer the smaller Lomachenko.

But how much control does Arum have any more on Pacquiao?

There is no such thing as a busy top PBC fighter.

If haymon has half a brain (questionable) then he has to make some real fights for spence. For the first time since mayweather retired, he finally has a chance to have ppv, real money fighter. If he fucks that up by wasting spences prime with devon alexander type fights then he truly is a moron. Fight alexander if he has to in the fall, then garcia, then a homecoming fight against a bum in dallas, then crawford. If that isn't the plan spence needs to find new management asap.

The problem is that if he leaves Haymon, Spence will never get Porter, Garcia and Thurman.

Spence needs exposure to optimize profits.

These 2 fighting each other for relative peanuts in the next 2 years is ludicrous. Haymon and Arum both know this.

TR and PBC needs to relax, gives their 2 fighters more frequent fights (2 bouts a year isn't going to cut it) keep them before the public eye, and eventually turn a current combined $40 million purse into a Mayweather-Pacquiao type one down the line.

If Pac beats Matthysse, Arum needs to make Crawford vs Pac. It will not be competitive, but will generate good money and exposure for Bud.

Is arum still promoting pac? Even if he is, that is going to be a difficult fight to make.

Arum don't want it. Maybe because he doesn't have full financial ties to Pac any longer.

Pac says he wants it, but it might just be lip service at this point.

Spence has had a comfortable win against a game but over-matched Peterson and then a first round blowout last night. He should be fresh enough to go again in September, nevermind not fighting again this year. It'll likely be a B-level guy such as Vargas, Broner, Berto or Alexander. Underwhelming but its better than him sitting out until next spring. Haymon should push for Spence-Garcia/Porter as early as possible. Neither of those guys are going to make him mega bucks at this stage of their careers. Spence has everything required to be a star. Then he should give Thurman a comeback fight against one of those B-level fighters I mentioned and then tell him he's not getting big pay days unless he agrees to fight Spence.

Spence is saying he wants to "clear up on his side of the street" before he takes on Crawford and suggests that Bud should do the same. But who do TR have at 147? Manny? Is Adames at 147 or 154? That Lithuanian guy with the long name? I think the Russian that was mandatory for Spence moved up. Benavidez? Bud's options seem a bit more limited.

I think we see loma vs pac way before crawford vs pac. It seems like crawford vs benevidez is a sure thing for the fall which is an ok fight I guess. After that maybe jesse vargas if he isn't with pbc? Maybe mathyssee if he beats pac? khan? Arum is going to have to get creative one way or the other.
