I dont think you will ever get another period of boxing where you will see the likes of these guys who were around in the 90's.

if Naz were fighting today he would be a cruiserweight.

I was happy Barrera taught him some manners too, that said imagine how big he would have been with Hearn behind him.

It is me or did the old PPV's from the 90's which had a theme (War of The Worlds, Land of The Giants) have far better undercards than today's fare? There seemed a lot less Mismatchroom prospect beats crapfest foreigner whilst we wait in vain for the main event.

Love him or hate him Naz is one of the best we've produced. He should've stayed with Ingle and kept his head. Although he was very good he could've been so much better. Made plenty money and got out the game young and fresh with his health but can't help but think what could've been.

Was just hoping I hadn't gone all 'back in my day'. I remember Joe v Woodhall had Sinky v Santos, Martinez v Pickering, and Ingle v Botile...all world title shots

They were fcuking miles better and they often crossed over to the states for some monster fights there too, you'd get may 8-10 hours of boxing, now sky are serving up dog shit.

I was just talking about Naz I went to Dublin with my dad and 2 brothers to watch the hurling final and Naz was defending his belt vs Manuel Madina the same weekend and we got tickets the day before from a music shop like hmv or virgin decent tickets as well at face value that would be impossible today they'd be sold out in 30 minutes .

Yeah me and my pals had some top nights, few beers in the pub, back to a house for 7 and then get really messy, upto 5am, some poor fcuker would always fall asleep, get a beard and glasses drawn on in permanent marker and quite rightly get tea bagged by the rest of us. Happy days :OhYes:

Naz had a similar career to Tyson both amazingly gifted with trainers that exploited their natural gifts to get the most out of them then they leave that trainer and start to go down hill from there and end up not living up to their early promise.

Naz was the only 90's star I did not see live and its a regret. I got to see Calzaghe, Bruno, Lennox, Benn, Eubank etc but no Naz and I bet they were cracking nights

Cheeky fukker  They needed two tubs of it actually

I read that wrong  I used all sorts of stuff to get it off. Was sitting in shower picking it off bit by bit! There was no sexy time or masterbating for a while after that I don't think! It was roundabout that time I burst my banjo as well! Pumping some dirty outside a lorry lay by outside the bowling  My cock took a hiding back then

Absolutely. Matchroom have been very good at finding the potential of their fighters, but the shows overall are top heavy. You never get a good chief support because that’s been saved for a main event somewhere else. My friends never want to attend Matchroom shows early. Lots of filler and “learning” fights, and very little genuine sport.
