One of my favourite fighters returns next week after almost a year out following hsi broken jaw loss to Sullivan Barrera - and 18 months after retiring Bernie Hopkins.

Still only 28 Smith is great fun to watch & I'm hoping he gets back to fighting top opposition asap.

Next week he's fighting a bloke with 11-4-2 record who is known as The Romantic Redneck

What’s a romantic redneck - someone who buys their sister flowers first??

This is just a rust remover fight. Ive followed Joe Jr for a few years now, loved his gradual improvement. If his jaw hadn't been broken against Barerra, well, who knows. It was a set back, but Joe has the fan base especially in NYC, to keep getting fights despite the loss.
If it wasn't for the East European influx of LHW, Joe wouls be top #5-#10.

And if it wasn't for the New Zealanders, Ireland would have the best rugby team in the world.

I saw Melvin Russell in person against Edwin Rodriguez. He went for it for what it's worth, but was outgunned fairly easily. I expect that'll be the case again in this bout.

We also have a small island off our coast, it's called Australia. Perhaps you have repressed that?

Yeah, that's where the Irish won a rugby series last weekend.
