I read that he has had a problem relicensing due to (undisclosed) medical issues and is hoping to get the all clear to resume his career.
I don't know him but I do know that ending your career on your own terms is valuable to a boxer and he always seems like a pleasant guy so I wish him luck.

If Gary is having medical issues with his board licence BIBA will welcome him with open arms if he wishes to continue boxing but whatever he decides to do the best of luck to him

Cornish announced his retirement yesterday. Apparently he was refused a BBBoC license due to health reasons.

I heard about this yesterday, change in his brain scan apparently but didn’t sound like anything serious fortunately. All the best to him.
