So, can we build a great heavyweight by using attributes from guys that never won the lineal heavyweight championship.
Only one attribute from each boxer.

Two guys mentioned Ray Mercer in determination category. I strongly disagree: 1) I consider determination not only as a quality in the fight, but the desire of fighter to always keep himself in excellent shape (like Mayweather, Hopkins, Wlad). Mercer definitely wasn't te guy, who always kept himself in shape. 2) Mercer was very determined in some fights (Morrison, Holyfield, Lewis), but sometimes he was extremely lethargic (both fights against Ferguson, fight against Wilson).

If we take your definition, you're right. But I've put only an ability to stay strong in an actual fight, not the desire to keep fit from one fight to another. So I've chosen Mercer. In my opinion, Morrison fight is a one of the greatest comebacks ever. Mercer took terrific stuff, the variety of punches, Tyson-like combos from body to head. And he was able to return even more brutal stuff.

This should have been without lineal champs.

Lineal champions (Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe) shouldn't be included here. Good call on Larry Donald and Corrie Sanders though.

Good call on Seldon. Mercer had terrific jab, he outjabbed much bigger Lewis and marked up Wlad's face even at anvanced age (41). But he was still outjabbed and outboxed by 42-years-old Larry Holmes. Can't remember Seldon losing the war of jabs. But then again, he never faced Larry Holmes.

Hated to put Ibeabuchi in for just one fight, but couldn’t think of anyone else. Surprised everyone is putting Ruddock for his uppercut instead of his left hook. Is that because we can’t think of anyone else for uppercut?

The funny thing here is that ALL lineal heavyweight champions, that fought in 90s, had great or very good uppercuts except of Shannon Briggs. Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Douglas, Holyfield, Bowe, Moorer and Lewis all had at least very good uppercuts. And out of all other fighters of 90s there weren't too many with good uppercuts. Ruddock and Ibeabuchi had great half-hooks/half-uppercuts, but as for clean uppercuts? It's hard to tell. Morrison, Cooper, Sanders had pretty good uppercuts. I'd probably go with Bert Copper.

Morrison had good uppercut for sure. He could place it well in combinations, going from body to head.
