0:00 Pastor looks to be in good shape as Round 3 gets underway. 0:0

0:45 The bleeding from the gash on the inside of Cooney's right eyebrow is flowing heavier now, as it takes additional punishment. 5:2
0:45 * Gerry Cooney seems to be having some difficulty seeing. It's not that he's bleeding all that badly but the location of the cut - over the eye - makes it a bit more serious. And talk about timing, the referee has stepped in and momentarily stopped the fight. He's looking at the cut above Cooney's eye and is now leading him toward the ringside physician. 5:2
0:45 * The doctor is peering at the wound and he's shrugged his shoulders and he's shaking his head - is that a good thing or bad? Well, it's good from Cooney's perspective and the cheer that arises from the crowd tells us all we need to know: there's going to be more fisticuffs in just a moment. 1:09 Pastor scores with a crisp uppercut inside. 4:4
1:09 Pastor last connect snapped back the head of Cooney. And it looks like it has reopened Cooney's cut. 4:4
1:09 Once again the blood from the gash on the inside of Cooney's right eyebrow begins to stream down his face as the bad cut he suffered earlier has reopened. 4:4
1:09 * Blood is trickling from the cut over Cooney's eye; it has to be impairing his vision somewhat and it's definitely bothering him if the amount of blinking he's doing is any indication. And it looks like . . . yes . . . Referee Ramos is notifying the timekeeper to stop the clock. He wants the doctor at ringside to take a look at Cooney's facial wound. 4:4
1:13 * There doesn't seem to be any doubt that cut was caused by the accidental head butt in Round 2. The referee has stopped the fight and the ring side physician will take a look at it. That's going to be it! They're stopping the fight. * With only 4 rounds in the books, this bout is going to end in a Technical Draw! 4:4

Nice week for my guys here.
I told you Buzz our matches would be competitive. I gave Jackson a slight edge and Ward a slight edge in our women's fight. Played out that way as well. Good read between Mad Max and Jackson. Mad Max earned our respect even in a loss.
shame Tiozzo got DQ'd, but 3 fouls in less than 8 rounds?!? The fight was close to even on paper, but Tiozzo took a beating the last two rounds and was looking for a way out I think. Either way, they'll meet again and thanks for unifying....
