Kristian Laight The Big 3 Hundy!!

British Super Lightweight Kristian Laight will compete in his 300th professional fight in a few months time.

I just wanted to give big props, respect and this tribute, to a guy that has helped so many up and coming British boxers over the years. After 277 losses, only a select 5 people have been able to knock "Mr Reliable" out.
His resume reads like a who's who of British boxing.
We need guys like this to help young boxers on their way up the ladder, and Laight has provided a sterling service to boxing.
I wish him all the best in #300

I see kris nearly every single time ive fought in the last 4 years i have huge huge respect for him he should be given an mbe for services to boxing.
I thought when peter buckley did 300 about 10 years ago no one would ever do it again ! Kris is a legend

Incredible service to our sport, without guys like Kristian the game would be in all sorts of trouble.
Good luck to him and all the best for future fights and also his life outside boxing.

Hope you're well.
This bloke had 356 fights. I remember reading about him back in the 80's. Apparently he once fought on one side of London, caught a bus, then had another bout in London on the same night

Historically there are a number of boxers with more bouts but in the modern era I believe Buckley is the man to, erm, ‘beat’, which I believe Kris will.

Presumably he would have fought even more bouts if WW2 hadn’t happened...

Plus he lets the young guys get important rounds in. Joshua got an MBE, IMO, Kris has done more for British boxing at the ground level.

300 is an enormous amount of fights, even if you are just doing 6x2's or 4 rounders against novices, emotionally it takes a lot out of you too.

He's from Nuneaton I think so it's a home fight for him. Expect a win!
It would be interesting to see where his real level is though, not just his 'job' level.
Eddie/Frank, come on, get this bloke on a card at a level we think he'd compete at. None of us would complain.
