I read a few weeks ago that he was contemplating not fighting again as he'd been dumped by his long term Missus so it was nice to see he got in the ring tonight against the decent but chinny Korean fighter Young Gil Bae.

Coming in 5 pounds above the Super Fly limit he blew away Bae in the first round.

This bloke is improving with age so I'm hoping he stays relevant for another year or three & fights maybe the winner or runner up of the WBSS Bantie tournament

Hope he gets back in the mix at SuperFly. Some good fights there. Wouldn't mind seeing him chin Yafai..... Him v Ancajas would be fuckin epic! Hard on material!

We'll see how he fares. He's pretty old for the weight so it must be tough getting down to 115 but he's defending his title against TBA in October back in Thailand.

Big for the weight as well. He looked a few divisions about Gonzalez when they fought!

The October fight is really interesting from a promotional stand point as MMA giant ONE Championship are promoting it

He's certainly not going to be signed by abercrombie and Fitch to model their autumn collection so I can see why he got dumped but surely he has enough money and fame back home to replace her.

Although I'm sure he's being taken to the cleaners in the court room. Perhaps he didn't want her getting a slice of his future earnings.

Him and the girl had been together since they were about 14 and were eating rats together so it's a bullshit move by her... Though the Thai papers have apparently reported a strange story since about him now being engaged

He was massive for the weight and needed to stay active. To lose that activity, and fight inferior competition over the weight, I’d argue is a bad move. He’s been exceptional - and deserved his place on the “pound for pound” lists - but once a fighter like this loses momentum, that could be it. I don’t want to se him, say, miss the weight at 115-pounds, or get beaten moving up to bantamweight.
