Golota was better, if not to count his infamous tricks. Both has a solid skillset, but Golota was more diverse and sharp. I guess, he could have outboxed Pulev and maybe even stopped him.

Pulev by DQ or late came-from-behind TKO. Golota always somehow found the way to lose important fights.

Agree that Golota did always seemed to find a way to lose important fights. This would not be an important fight.

What Alp said. Golota wins routine fights and this is a routine fight. Pulev is nothing.

Out if the guys who beat Golota I would say Pulev was clearly better than Grant but it may be that Grant was stylistically more difficult.

Here everythng is pretty complicated, cause some of his wins aren't wins on paper, but clearly can be considered just as good performances.
So, the best "win" is for sure Bowe fights. Golota had beaten up arguably the best guy there twice in a row, that made him popular.
The actual good wins were over Corey Sanders, Tim Witherspoon, Orlin Norris. Those were pretty good fights. Maybe that Corey Sanders wasn't a too big name, while Norris could have been a bit shabby and Witherspoon clearly past prime, but those were solid bouts overall.
Then Byrd and Ruiz fights should be mentioned, cause Golota was arguably robbed of World titles there twice in a row. Well, Ruiz fight wasn't that good, cause there was Ruiz, who spoiled its second half with his trademark style. But Byrd fight was entertaining, the clash of attacking and defensive styles. Golota was so well prepared then.
