Usyk and the P4p list

Following his dominance against fellow unbeaten Cruiserweight World Champion Murat Gassiev last night in Moscow. Where does Alexander Usyk feature on the P4P debate.
Honestly, not a very good list. Lomachenko and Crawford shouldn't be rated higher than Usyk. Neither have wins that are in the galaxy of a Briedis or Gassiev. Both have been in weak divisions and fighting weak fighters/champions.ElJefe wrote: ↑22 Jul 2018, 18:26 About a month ago I posted my P4P list and had Usyk at 9. I said "if Usyk beats Gassiev this summer he probably goes above both (Kovalev and Spence) to #7 and maybe even threatens Garcia at #6 depending on how Mikey looks against Easter."
After last night he's definitely above Kovalev and Spence. I've also now got him above Garcia who, because of how dominant Usyk was, will have to produce something special for me to consider putting him back at 6.
In full:
1. Gennady Golovkin
2. Vasyl Lomachenko
3. Terence Crawford
4. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
5. Naoya Inoue
6. Oleksandr Usyk
7. Mikey Garcia
8. Sergey Kovalev
9. Errol Spence Jr.
10. Leo Santa Cruz
There's a very good argument for him being as high as #4 and I might change my mind in a few days and bump him up again. Need to have a think about it.
90% of people have Lomachenko and Crawford above Usyk. Nothing wrong with their lists or mine. A certain amount of longevity (Bud) and eye-test (Loma) also play a factor when their resumes are similar.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑22 Jul 2018, 21:13Honestly, not a very good list. Only one that has an argument to be ranked above Usyk is Sor Rungvisai. Not only resume, but Usyk has been dominant in the most talent-laden division currently.
A lot of people don't watch the CW or are casual fans.ElJefe wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 12:4990% of people have Lomachenko and Crawford above Usyk. Nothing wrong with their lists or mine. And calling a whole list bad because you don't like where 1 fighter is placed is strange.
