Following his dominance against fellow unbeaten Cruiserweight World Champion Murat Gassiev last night in Moscow. Where does Alexander Usyk feature on the P4P debate.

He's sat at the top of arguably the most difficult weight division and has just had a career best flawless performance away from home. He has to be up there

Just now, he is the only undisputed champion, and this is the greatest achievement in modern-day boxing. So, he deserved to be the No. 1.................

Usyk should certainly be in the top 5 p4p, and probably in the top 3.

About a month ago I posted my P4P list and had Usyk at 9. I said "if Usyk beats Gassiev this summer he probably goes above both (Kovalev and Spence) to #7 and maybe even threatens Garcia at #6 depending on how Mikey looks against Easter."
After last night he's definitely above Kovalev and Spence. I've also now got him above Garcia who, because of how dominant Usyk was, will have to produce something special for me to consider putting him back at 6.

3. Terence Crawford
4. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
5. Naoya Inoue
6. Oleksandr Usyk
7. Mikey Garcia
8. Sergey Kovalev

There's a very good argument for him being as high as #4 and I might change my mind in a few days and bump him up again. Need to have a think about it.

He's my #1 p4p surpassing Sor Rungvisai. He should be consensus p4p but there aren't a lot of people that follow the CW division. Ignorance abounds.

Honestly, not a very good list. Lomachenko and Crawford shouldn't be rated higher than Usyk. Neither have wins that are in the galaxy of a Briedis or Gassiev. Only one that has an argument to be ranked above Usyk is Sor Rungvisai. Not only resume, but Usyk has been dominant in the most talent-laden division currently.

90% of people have Lomachenko and Crawford above Usyk. Nothing wrong with their lists or mine. Usyk is in top 4 (in an arbitrary order): Loma, Crawford, GGG, Usyk.

I don't think anyone can make an argument to have Lomachenko or Crawford above Usyk. Not even the eye-test works here. Usyk would look amazing fighting guys on the level of Postol or Horn. He just looked amazing just about shutting out one of the best CW's in the world. I think Briedis cracked the top 10 HW's at one time too after he brutally KTFO Charr.
I can maybe, maybe understand Lomachenko, but there is no way in hell to have Crawford anywhere near above Usyk, Sor Rungvisai, or even Lomachenko. Crawford has fought absolutely no one relevant in the p4p rankings.
