How do you see that fight going, Whyte seems to be improving with each fight would he be to physical for wilder or would wilder be to fast and hit to hard ,? I'm not sure I think dillian could beat wilder but trying to walk down wilder could be very dangerous he does have one punch power I think Whyte would be winning the fight it just weather he can stay away from Wilders right hand and stay on his feet.

Whyte would get knocked out pretty quickly.

wilder actually doesnt usually score early kos since fighting for titles, even eric molina went 9 or 10, szpilka went 9, duhaupas 11, stiverne 12 the first time etc
wilder would win eventually though

Whyte would get ko’d brutally, just like he did against Joshua.

Whyte isn't at the level of Wilder or Joshua. There are decent fights out there for him though
Miller
Brazeale
Takem
Chisira 2
Joyce
Bellew
Any of those would be fan friendly.

I think Whyte gives Wilder trouble. He’s not an easy nights work for Deontay at all. He carries the power to hurt Wilder but I’d back the American to win.
It’s an obvious fight to make imo.

ppl need to remember that molina hurt wilder, that szpilka won several rounds off him on a lot of cards, that gerald washington was even on the official cards and up 4-0 on a lot of observor cards, and duhaupas shut his eye
and also that he rarely scores early stoppages. they are usually in the 8-11 range
so i dont expect a quick wipe out, and i certainly think whytes better then the likes of molina, szpilka, duhaupas, shot arreola, etc. wouldnt surprise me if he caught wilder with one of those winging shots and rocked him a bit
but i do expect wilder to get it eventaully and emphatically

Can't see it , he's a tough mother
Don't expect him to win and I think he would be stopped on his feet in the later rounds .
Don't think his fitness is the greatest and he would need to up his game in that department .
Was blowing hard last night towards the later rounds .

Whyte has improved for sure, but still Wilder will be too much for him. It will be trademark Wilder fight: Deontay will struggle with the opponent for the solid part of the fight and then will KTFO him. Whyte can be better now, but still he is not that type of boxer, who can cautiously avoid Wilder's bomb. And his chin isn't hard enough to take that.

Whyte vs Ortiz would be fun. Not too sure who would win that one either. I think Whyte would give Wilder similar problems to Ortiz and probably suffers the same fate to be fair.

Wilder would get a KO win inside about 8 rounds against Whyte
Whyte is very easy to hit and it doesnt take many openings for Wilder to find that big right hand. He has the biggest punch in the division by a long way and you need to be elusive against him to win.

I'd give Whyte a real chance, hard dude with better skill than Wilder.

It's a fight I would like to see, it also seems a no brainer for Wilder to take it as it would increase his profile in the UK massively.
I like Whyte and can see him winning several rounds, but I wouldn't fancy his chances of lasting 12 against someone with Wilder's combination of reach, speed and sheer power.
Most of Whyte's best work is done at long range, which would leave him in a precarious position everytime he missed (which he does quite a lot).

Whyte can win if he hustles from the bell and catches Wilder cold, but after R1 I'd strongly favour Wilder to stop him if no telling shots have landed. It's not just power that Whyte's up against, it's also speed, reach and height.
People talk about Wilder's weight as a disadvantage, but how many great heavies have been above 230 in their primes? Lewis and the Ks are the only in-shape naturals (you know what I mean!) I can think of. Foreman was 220 in his prime.
Wilder does have those skinny legs, but that's part and parcel of an explosive build. Elite sprinters all have high calves. I read an article that surmised longer Achilles tendons were also an advantage for marathon runners, because in theory they boost economy by storing and reutilising more elastic energy. Competing theories are that tendons account for very little in energy storage, and it might be their, er, stiffness as much as their length.
Bolt's legs aren't that big, and they were his training focus.

Interesting fight. I'm far from sold on Wilder but his handspeed and power I think will catch up with Whyte's, whose chin I am not 100% sold on.
Its a funny thing boxing styles - I think Joshua will make Wilder look silly, but I think Whyte could still give AJ something to think about - but style wise I think Wilder beats Whyte. Just don't think Whyte has the discipline and reflexes to avoid Wilder's fast shots.
