Luis Collazo wins close round 1 vs Bryant "Good Fella" Perrella

I gave Perrela round 2 because he landed some nice right jabs.

Round 3 : Collazo wins the round based on successful pressure.

Round 4 : Good physical fight. Collazo lands a nice left to the temple. Collazo laying some nice leather and is up 3 rounds to 1 in the fight.

Round 5 : Collazo the aggressor wins the round. Perrella frustrated with his opponents non stop pressure.

Round 6 : Collazo stalks. Perrella's loses his mouth piece and eats some punches for a minute before its replaced. Collazo is up 5-1 after 6 rounds complete.

Round 7 : Collazo is doing some good steady work. Wins the round.

Round 8 : Perrellas lands a nice series of combination shots. Colllazo reponds back furiously with under a minute to go. Perrela almost out on his feet, but survives. 7-1 Collazo after 8 rounds complete.

Round 9 : Collazo easily outworks and grabs the round.

Round 10 : NYC represents, the crowd chants "Louie, Louie" ... Collazo finishes winning in workmanlike fashion.


FINAL SCORECARDS : Collazo wins MD : 98-92, 96-94 .... and an insane 95-95 card!! I had it 99-91 , maybe 98-92 Collazo.

Marcus Browne vs Lenin Castillo

Round 1 : A feel out round for Browne.

Round 2 : Browne continues to test the waters. He's wins the round based on better activity.

Round 3 : Correctly called low blow hurts Castillo. After a rest he returns. Browne lands a couple of nice body shots. Browne up 3-0.

Round 4 : Another tactical round for Browne.

Round 5 : Browne gets clipped by a left to the chin and goes down! He's not hurt, but the fight just got a bit more interesting. 48-46 Browne after 5 rounds complete.

Whoa! Browne knocked down!

Round 6 : A regathered Browne goes back to boxing. Lands a nice left hook with a minute left and wins the round.

Round 7 : Castillo continues standing his ground. But Browne is simply faster to the draw when punches are thrown. Very tactical. Brownes trainer implores his student to "get vicious".

Round 8 : Same story. Tactical round for Browne. Trainer is cursing and yelling at him to step it up!


**Commentator and future world title challenger Caleb Plante has it scored 77-74 for Browne after 8 rounds complete.


Round 9 : Castillo doesn't throw , therefore he loses the round. It's a shame because Castillo has had some success when he lets his hands go.

Round 10 : Browne lands a couple of nice straight left hands. Wins close round.

FINAL SCORECARD : Workmanlike UD for Marcus Browne : 98-91 X 2 , 97-92

I had it 98-91 for Browne.

Up next : Sergey Lipinets vs Erick Bone

Both are 29 years old. Bone has a 3 inch reach advantage and is 2 inches taller.

Round 1 : Feel out round. However, Lipinets is the clear aggressor and landed a couple of left hand shots.

Round 2 : Good boxing round. Bone lands combo midway through. Lipinets moves forward. Close round to judge.

Round 3 : Lipinets left jab is accurate, Bone is able to punch and move well. Another close round that I'll give to Bone.

Round 4 : Lipinets is having difficulty finding his rhythm. Bone is awkward style wise. I gave the round to Bone. I have this fight even after 4 rounds complete.

Round 5 : Sergey asserts himself and wins the round. The Russian is moving faster and Bone seemed to slow a bit.

Round 6 : Bones' use of faints has helped him. A big overhand right lands for Lipinets. Bone has also landed some decent overhand rights. Lipinets is better at his timing defensively. He also seems to be in better cardio shape. Lipinets round.

Round 7 : Lipinets easily wins the round. He's wearing Bone down with body shots.

Round 8 : Lipinets landing the cleaner shots. Bone not throwing enough. Both fighters are missing many big overhand rights. Lipinets wins the round.

Round 9 : Bone lands a decent right hand. A Lipinets stiff jab knocks Bones mouthpiece clear out. Bouncing Lipinets picking up the steam with a round left in the contest.

Lipinets looks like crap. I have Bone up. I don't know how you think Lipinets "easily" won round 7. He just plods around getting potshotted, not cutting the ring off at all.

Round 10 : Lipinets stalks. Blood is tricking out of Bones nose. Solid left hook lands for Lipinets. Tough Bone (who did land some good one two combos) is outclassed in this contest.


FINAL SCORECARDS : Lipinets wins by MD : 99-91, 98-92 and another odd scorecard of 95-95.

J'Leon Love vs Peter Quillin

Lipinets was trash in this fight. The 95-95 card was much closer to reality than the 2 lopsided cards.

Round 1 : Quillin throws the harder punches. J'Leon did not throw, but he intelligently looked to correctly calibrate his counter punch timing. Quillin wins the round.

Round 2 : A minute in, Kid Chocolate gets distracted by Loves corner and yells back at them. Close round that I gave to Love.

Floyd Mayweather in attendance watching his TMT stablemate Love.

Round 3 : Fight pace is picking up. Quillin seems to get a bit more in the exchanges, therefore I gave him the round.
