Pretty poor really from the UK perspective, given the Brook/Khan fight might well never happen.

So much for 20 Sky Sports shows per year, eh?

That’s 13 above in just under 4 months - we can’t complain about that,

We have a Boxing Channel which has barely had a show in months and now signed its best 15-20 fighters to a separate channel.

A bit misleading to call this a schedule, isn’t it? It’s mostly just placeholder dates.

And there maybe a 2/3 NxtGen shows to fit in as well.

November 10: Oleksandr Usyk v Tony Bellew (Venue to be confirmed)

November 10: Daniel Jacobs v Sergiy Derevyanchenko (New York)

Think matchroom have said they wont have a card in US and UK on the same weekend

Why? Wazza did it brilliantly in the past.

I was more referring to the 20 UK cards that Matchroom were shouting about when they renewed their Sky contract. Now they have the DAZN deal, they aren't bothered about UK fans it seems.

Even if all of those come off, there are 4 UK cards on regular Sky there. That's shocking.

3 more PPV's as well on that list, and that's assuming the as yet unannounced Liverpool and London cards are not PPV.

It was the Sky model for PPV.

Wasn't the Magnificent Seven card a precursor to a Vegas show?

In fairness to the poster above, I think Matchroom have said they won't do one in the UK and US themselves on the same night in the sense of actually putting on the show. It was a little different in the Sports Network days as Frank put on a show over here and Sky bundled in the Vegas show with it. It would work a little differently logistically for Matchroom to put on a show on both sides of the Atlantic on the same night.

Maloney did it too. And Barry Hearn.

Again - they may have had Sky PPV's from both sides of the Atlantic on the same night, but they didn't actually put on the show in the US, did they?

Yeh that’s what hasn’t been done. It’s like when Hearn wanted GGG-Canelo rematch on the same night as Bellew-Haye 2..

The Bruno v Tyson bill in 1996 was a triple header PPV, Bruno v Tyson bill in Vegas, Bugner v Welch bill in Berlin and Naseem Hamed show in Glasgow.

That is what you call a stacked card

DJ is on HBO - that’s his last fight when I’d imagine he’ll join DAZN.

You’re right. It was a 3-fight deal with HBO.

But what the above pisters mean is, regardless one will be US and the other UK, Hearn is only going to attend the Bellew fight, meaning he’ll miss all the presser’s and weigh ins for Andrade vs. BJS. FW has already said he is attending.

I have zero interest in the American fights as it’s past my bedtime. I love Saturday fight night and want more of them. Next gen on a Friday night I’d even settle for once it’s anyway competitive

Hearn will be at BJS/Andrade - that’s different date.

The Jacobs is on HBO - Hearns now a major rival and has been arguing with Espinoza already. Can’t see him having much involvement - might even leave most to Matchroom USA team.

Oh yeh crap. I got the dates messed up. I meant Hearn won’t be at Jacobs-Derev..
