Zurdo looks to the UK for his next opponent

"I like Eubank Jr, I like James DeGale, any of them. I am prepared to fight with any of the champions, with the best. And I don't only want to be one of the best, but I want to be the best.
Is that what you call an oxymoron?
Eubank isn't a champion, and a sliding Degale only has a tentative grip on his belt.
Poor Zurdo, his handlers probably won't let him fight someone as alive as Eubank Jr. But given the choice, who would you like to see*, from the UK, and any predictions on how it would play out?
*Assuming his handlers don't hold his belt hostage forever...

Degale does not have a belt and Eubank Jr is not someone many would term as "someone as alive as. Eubank Jr".

I can see Degale vs Eubank happening this year, possibly on the Usyk vs Bellew undercard (just a gut feeling i have).
If he wants a British opponent next, he could do a lot worse than John Ryder. He certainly isn't any worse than the guys he has been fighting lately.

I think Zurdo should fight PAUL "SMIGGA" Smith on the undercard of Degale vs CEJ with the winners fighting next show.
That allows everyone to make the most money and (sort of, just about) makes sense for the "sport of boxing"

Smith is fighting Groves.

Wouldn't mind seeing Eubank or DG in with Zurdo.

You would have thought Paul Smith is the obvious choice

Yeah, he has a knack of getting title shots for sure.
I would love Ryder to get a go, or Fielding for that matter. But Ramirez wants the best

Why should any half-way reasonable boxer be scared of Eubank Jr?
Wasn't he all but exposed by George Groves?

I've updated my post for those who've somehow forgotten about the other world-rated Smith !

He does well purse wise in the States. He’s being used to top shows in cities with a large Mexican population.
Would take a big (probably PPV) payday to come over here.
I can’t see any fight working financially for him apart from the Smith-Groves winner.

Rameriez's handlers have been matching him below the level of Eubank Jr and Eubank Jr was 'exposed' by the most experienced recognised world #1.
Jessie Hart is Zurdo's top opponent (IMO) in
38 fights
