Thurman seems to have psychologically fell off as much as anything. Even if the elbow injury didn't get the best of him, he just doesn't have the same edge anymore. He'll beat Lopez, but he's ready to be taken by any of the bigger names in the division.

Maybe he knows who his own son is fighting, but I question his knowledge of Thurman's intinerary.

No it is not but i hope & pray that Thurman's injury don't effect him from competing in the division are effect his performances as well,hope he's well and his elbow injury is completely clear.We all know Angel is just upset because Thurman beaten his son.

I'm not even certain that the injury is that big a deal.

For whatever reason, Thurman seems to have lost his interest in boxing.

The thrill is gone.

If he returns and just goes through the motions for a payday here and there, that's going to affect Thurman's success much more than any lingering elbow problems.

From what I'm hearing Thurman lost his hunger for the sport boxing and if he does decide to fight again it most likely will be against a few bums are so.
