WBSS Super Lightweight (1/4 Final): Regis Prograis vs. Terry Flanagan - 27 October 2018

Regis Prograis’ #1 seed in the World Boxing Super Series super lightweight tournament has netted him both his choice of opponent and home field advantage for the semifinals. According to ESPN, “Rougarou” is “likely” to take on Terry Flanagan on October 27th in New Orleans.
This would be Flanagan’s first appearance across the pond.
Prograis (22-0, 19 KO), who’s stopped 15 of his last 16 opponents, stands alongside Josh Taylor as an early favorite to win it all. He’s looked absolutely vicious thus far in his career, walking through incoming fire to pulverize opponents’ bodies with single-minded devotion. Flanagan (33-1, 13 KO) is likely his best opponent so far (depending on how you rate Julius Indongo), though ,so this ought to be a quality scrap.

Prograis via KO.
Flanagan used his physical advantages well at Lightweight.
Doesn’t look capably to bully the top guys at Light-Welter. Especially Prograis.

Agree. Could be a painful night for Terry this.

He's been really disappointing since Magdaleno. Not been impressed since then.
Hasn't got much of a personality either..
I'm from Manchester, he's hardly known here. The average local person knows Crolla at least.
That's because Crolla's on Sky and Terry's on BN
Never been convinced that Terry's world level anyhow but fighting at a higher weight against a banger in his hometown is a recipe for disaster. Hope he proves me wrong

It's an important measuring stick for seeing how good Regis is. Indongo never convinced me that he was "all that", and it seems he is Prograis's best win so far
From what I have read so far, boxing insiders think the final will be Martin Vs Prograis. But from my point of view, Taylor is the only one proven at the top level by his last 3 opponents. All three are better than anything Martin has faced, and apart from Indongo, the same can be said for Regis.
Thoughts?

Anyone think Flanagan has a chance?
He was favourite against Hooker, but I doubt he is here. I think he’s go the distance but lose this on points.
He’s local to me and I want him to do well, but it’s so hard to get behind him.

I'll say again, I think Flanagan will be doing a lot of spoiling and mauling when he realises he's in over his head, and I think that realisation will come quite early too.

I think Flanagan will get iced inside 6/7.
