Haye should have enough money to promote Joyce anyway, but Haymon is obviously going to be managing and advising Joyce. Plus, he has tonnes of HW's in his stable who he can match with Joyce.

Could be a good move. Haye seems to be struggling finding him opponents. He shouldn't have that problem with Uncle Al.

I take this as a sign that he is skipping the domestic route.
I expect we will see him in with the likes of Gerald Washington and Eric Molina before the year is out.

Interesting to see if training with Sanchez makes much of a difference.
He’s racking up great experience (ABAs, Commonwealth, European, Worlds, Olympics, WSB and sparring he’ll get in California)
I know he’s been stopped a couple of times in the ams. I’ve seen one vs the Russian world champion, clean shots to be fair, and he looked ready to carry on. Fighting the way Joyce does you’re definitely going to get your chin tested.

He's not the most complete boxer and yeh, he has lost numerous times. He's never going to be polished, he's already past 30 years old. He can sure fight though and Sanchez will bring that out in him more.
As soon as he fights a boxer though, he will likely lose.

While Joyce looks unpolished he is a big unit, has a real good engine, awkward and effective as hell, he will prove very difficult to beat and impossible to look good against.
No one title contenders will want to fight him without a title on the line.

They'd need to be a GOOD boxer AND have a bit of pop.
I'd love to see him fight Hughie Fury. Fascinating to find out if JJJ could get to him. Would be like Dhalsim vs Zangieff too - classic matchup

Del didn't turn down the chance to fight Joyce, he turned down the money which was, as far as I can figure, was about 1/3rd his usual payday.

Maybe. But he could've and maybe should've been Pulev possibly opening up title fights. AJ would've knocked him spark out, especially as he was knocking everyone spark out on the way up
