Looks like their officially winding down..
recived this this morning..
"Dear customer,
From Tuesday 25th September allegedly will no longer be operating a Pay-Per-View channel. allegedly HD (channel 490) on Sky TV will close and all events will as normal be available on channel 427 as part of your subscription package. allegedly never has and never will ask subscribers to Pay-Per-View. This is for information only and there is nothing you are required to do.
You can continue to enjoy a packed schedule of live and exclusive fights, including the mouth-watering Welterweight showdown between Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter on September 8th and this Saturday's World Title double-header featuring Ray Beltran and Isaac Dogboe in Arizona. Plus allegedly’s 12 fight agreement with MTK Global starts this Friday night with domestic action live from Glasgow and the return of David Price on the channel in October. allegedly’s exclusive output deal with Top Rank means you get to watch some of the biggest pound-for-pound boxers including Vasyl Lomachenko and Terence Crawford.
allegedly is committed to providing an unbeatable boxing schedule, so stay tuned to our social feeds and website for more fight announcements.
Thanks,
allegedly"
Presume that's the end of the HD channel on Sky, shame, the SD channel of appalling quality.

So we are now getting SD instead of HD for the same price.
I have stuck through what's going on but sooner or later there comes a time when I have to cancel!

I cancelled a few months ago and then received an email this Saturday saying get BT sports plus box~nation half price 12 quid per month.
I signed up, mainly as i wanted BTs champions league footy @ half price, and of course the few and far between boxing fights on BT.
Though I’m pleased to see box~nation is stumbling on with a few fights again, because I wasnt expecting to tune into it again for those endless repeats even if I had it included in this package.

Night and day, their SD channel is broadcast at an exceptionally low bit rate resulting in a terrible picture and effectively half the frame rate.

I cancelled a few months ago and have basically missed nothing. I already pay for Sky Sports (although might cancel that if I can’t get a good deal on it when my contract is up) and have no interest in BT Sport, especially as they’re now introducing PPV and losing the UFC contract.
BN was amazing for a few years, but sadly the writing has been on the wall ever since the BT deal was announced. They’re pretty much charging for an empty channel now, surprised they have any subscribers left at all.

Was going to cancel before the Pacquiao fight, rang up and got the half price for a month deal. Intended to scrap the subscription for good but haven't got round to it. I can live without it in HD but that is very poor in this day and age and it's a step backwards since they've had it and are dropping it.
I can't recall the details of the MTK deal, something like 12 domestic shows in a year ? If the channel can provide us with those 5 hour marathon broadcasts featuring practically the entire bill, and have some decent punditry going on, then I will probably stick around as a subscriber. Admittedly I am absolutely gutted that Fwank has taken his WBO intercontinental and WBO european champs onto another channel but since that channel has now unashamedly declared it's top "in-house" shows will be on PPV, they're not getting my fxxking money either. By any yardstick it is honestly too much to pay for Sky, BN and BT, plus the PPV shows on top.
So I may stick around with B ox Nation, in a sort of "the band is playing while the ship goes down" sort of way.

Gonna cancel mine, apparently I can get BT for a tenner a month as I'm a BT customer

Yeah I can't see things getting any better for the channel. They've cancelled Bunces Boxing Hour and Boxing Matters. Frank has taken his fighters over to BT. The quality of their international coverage has dropped significantly over the last 12 months and now HD has gone too.
Still charging the same price for a service that's a shadow of its former self.

Think the channel has lost its identity, it never really was the "channel of champions" but they did give it a brand and identity to a certain extent.
Think it's unique selling point should be to be a grass roots channel, they're half way there with the MTK shows so add more of those from UK promoters with no TV deal, and some amateur stuff too, plus occasional overseas shows in the middle of the night.
With Fwank competing with Eddie at the top end, it leaves a gap at the bottom, at grass roots level. Not sure if they can get enough subscribers, I suppose the big earners have left the channel so shows that cost in the tens of thousands to stage rather than into 6 or even 7 digits can be shown. Yes, it does mean a lot of unknown fighters and hardly any marquee names but if they're going to try to plod on they need a unique selling point, and "the channel of wbo european champions" won't really cut it. Mind you, they've fxxked off too !

It'll be a sad day if the channel goes for good, I remember being devastated when Setenta went down the shitter, if BN goes i'll be in genuine mourning, its been the best thing to happen to boxing ever in all my days of watching the sport, the amount of cards its shown over the years has been staggering, taking the lead whilst they robbing fvckers at Sky pick and choose a handful of international fights a year

BT seems to have very little boxing advertised. I have to subscribe to watch, I'm paying more for BT than BN but getti g less boxing for my money.
I will stay with BN as log as they show the top international contests.

Used to love allegedly. That afternoon Russian show headlined by Povetkin was just class. I cancelled my sub after Pacquiao fight (they gave me that month 1/2 price when called to cancel initially). Started subscribing for Fury Chisora 2/ BJS Eubank double header from Copperbox and massively enjoyed a lot of the US cards, as well as rest of World ones and UK.
I'm doing much less PPV now, tend to just go out when they are on, and sometimes catch the main event on 5Live or Talksport when on the drive home.

Which was this? I don’t mind Russian cards. They’re usually shown here around 5-6 main event.

I remember that one too. Ofalabi was on it. One of the best shows ever, it helped that expectations were not off the chart beforehand. I'd actually watch the whole show again if I could.

That was a brilliant card, lots of brutal ko’s and upsets.
My favourite ‘sleeper’ fight we got on BN might just be the Lebedev-Guillermo Jones fight, that was an unbelievable watch.

That was a cracker. Jones was juiced to the nines.
