Happy to watch the official PBC, HBO or Showtime highlights that appear on YouTube the following day rather than sitting up until 6am on a Sunday enduring hours of undercard fights I'm not fussed about.

Boxing doesn't need to cost you a fortune if you've got the brass neck to piggyback off someone else's subscription, spend time searching YouTube to see who regularly streams or uploads the big PPV shows or take a hit now and then and watch some highlights.

No offence taken mate. I was the bill payer until about 4 months ago. Had B0xnati0n since day one and would add SKY Sports whenever they had a solid line up coming up.

Got fed up recently with Frank moving his fighters over to BT, Sky showing less fight nights and padding their dates with NXTGEN shows. The less said about ITV Box Office the better.

Felt like I was being ripped off. Started to explore how to keep watching legally for as little cost as possible. The post wasn't meant to be preachy. Just trying to highlight you don't need to be shafted if you don't want to. There are alternative ways to get your fix.

Are you actively encouraging people to exploit others in order to continue watching boxing, by getting their friends, family members (in your case your parents) and strangers to pay for their ability to watch the sport or alternatively break the law by watching illegal online streamed content?

Perhaps the cost of watching the sport of boxing would be reduced significantly for all if everyone paid their own way? It's people like you that keep the costs unreasonably high due to your insistence on exploiting others?

Some of us are grown-up's and have to pay our own bills - we don't rely on the bank of "mum and dad" like you do!

Yeah it's not for everyone but works for me. If it doesn't float your boat then fair enough. For others it might. I wouldn't recommend anyone exploit their family or friends. Always ask the subscribers permission before using their streaming account. Don't be offended if they say no. Never try to access it without their permission. I'm lucky to have a great relationship with my Dad who wouldn't think twice about sharing his streaming account. He's been sharing my Netflix account on his TiVo box for years. I don't feel exploited in anyway and neither does he. Sharing is caring.

As for big fights being uploaded to and streamed via YouTube it's not a secret. Just keep an eye on Facebook or Twitter on fight night and the links keep on coming. Why YouTube are not clamping down on this is anyone's guess.

I've been paying for boxing PPV's and Sky Sports for nearly 22 years. Well before streaming and YouTube existed. I've never seen the cost of watching boxing on TV going down. It's just gone up and up and will continue to do so as more broadcasters become involved.

The genie is out of the bottle. The millennials are into account sharing and streaming. Lineal TV is slowly dying.

As for the pint I'm actually a generous guy and would happily let my Dad buy you one.
