Happening soon. Assume it’s being streamed. Anyone have a link? Will be interesting to see both, in particular the size of Canelo.

Canelo's all buffed again.

Naturally the conspiracy loons assume he's using PEDS because he was thin a few months ago.

I guess some fans have never heard about the effects a tough training camp can have on your physique.

He hasn’t come out yet buddy. Maybe say that after you’ve seen him.

There were some new online photos of him a couple days ago at camp.

Ripped.

He certainly is. Think he’s not as big around the shoulders but his back is big and ripped to shreds. He’s a fit boy.. Very dangerous foe. Looked excellent on the pads and with the pool noodles.

and hes gonna bust up ggg this time and win clearly

people should be going big on the 2/1 odds there were on canelo outright, cant believe with ggg a year older and canelo having already taken his shots easily and landed big that canelo would be that much of a dog to a man who couldnt beat him

will look nice on canelos resume

I watched some replay on the GB site.

Canelo looks extremely fast too. Hand speed and upper body movement.

Foot speed will never improve but he has a great sense of ring awareness and navigates it smartly.

He appears slightly leaner than last year but still quite chiseled. That leaness
helps with the speed and probably aid in the stamina department.

In the past year Canelo's probably hitting his physical peak at 28.

Bet against him this time at your own risk.

My bet is Canelo will still have stamina issues.

I sure hope Sanchez has explored different tactical options this time.

OK failing that, fingers crossed that Golovkin has. Canelo won't be stronger but he may well be quicker and slicker. It just won't do for Golovkin to go in with the same approach as last time.

Greater pace and variety needed as Canelo is far from the lumbering one dimensional fighter that once fought Mayweather.

Sanchez claims Golovkin will add a few new wrinkles for the rematch.

Maybe. But just wrinkles.

Golovkin has been a pro for 12 years. Headed into his 40th fight.

I wouldn't expect much change from him at this point.

He'll do what he always.

You've heard it a million times. Veteran fighters don't change. Even if they try, once they start getting hit, they quickly go back to what they know best.

Usually but not always. Ali, Hopkins, and more recently Canelo and Fury all had to change their styles when it was forced upon them, or it became clear that they had to in order to continue their careers.

Golovkin fans don't want to see him mostly chasing shadows all evening; and there is no reason to believe that Canelo will stand and engage more this time.

Something needs to change in Golovkin's approach this time. It doesn't have to be a drastic change of style, just tactical.

Anyway, not too long to find out, and we've got O' Sullivan v Lemieux on the undercard. After a bit of a lull suddenly some interesting matchups approaching fast.

Couldn't beat him? GGG couldn't stop him first time out, but he clearly won the majority of the rounds, i.e. beat him. The draw is flattering on Canelo's resume.

Golovkin is getting older, so I didn't like seeing him wearing knee sleeves. He didn't wear them during media workouts before the previous Canelo fight or the Brook fight, but he did wear them before the Jacobs fight. I hope it is nothing, but any loss of mobility or strength in his knees would be fatal, as knees are vital in footwork and punching power.

If there's any karma in boxing GGG will beat the drug cheat and right the absurdity that was handed down by Adalaide Bird.

The only 100% sure thing to expect is Canelito getting a fan pass for any more shady/illegal stuff he does, and more undue credit on the scorecards. That has been the most notable constant, especially in the recent years of his career. Guy gets help, from every angle, and will again. It's a shame because he is a great fighter. But he didn't win last time and won't this time either. He's gonna come out strong, then back to disengaging, pacing himself, trading very little, racking up undue credit hitting gloves, a couple meaningless cute moves per round, and knowing full well he just has to last 12 to get that point boost. It is best if Golovkin knocks him out cold, best scenario for boxing. Sparked.
