I'm going with Hatton Pacquaio. Man did he get a hiding that night, fought his heart out and and got absolutely mullered! The immediate aftermath of that KO was painful to watch, boxing at its most dramatic.

Froch Taylor all day. Down and behind on points going into the last round....stops him with 12 seconds (or something like that) on the clock... awesome

Froch Groves 1 & 2 deserve a mention?
I don't like or care about Froch but if I were invested in the outcome Froch v Taylor would have to be the winner.

Amazing, a real shame it didn't get the publicity, imagine if the masses had watched that live on ITV
Benn v McClland needs a mention too, I think I'm going to watch the last round of the Froch fight now.

How often in boxing do we go to that place, that place when you are on your feet, crazy intense euphoria, hands on your head mental, or flip that with total shock, worry, fear even for some.
When boxing delivers, it really delivers!

Got to agree. Wasn't broadcast live on TV in the UK. I stayed up late and listened to it on the radio. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. Remember sitting in my living room with my heart racing. Took me a couple of hours to get to sleep afterwards. I was totally pumped up.
If you've never heard the radio broadcast before just give this a listen from 4:30mins onwards. Goosebumps!

Froch-Taylor is just the first thing, that came to my mind. And it came immediately. That was truly dramatic. Froch pulled out a victory in an absolutely blown fight.

Not sure I`d say he fought his heart out. He wasn`t prepared properly, made the weight badly and got absolutely done inside two rounds.
Trying his heart out is what his brother did against Canelo.

Oh mate, thats harsh. He was getting hit repeatedly with clean hard shots from the opening bell, nothing like he had ever seen or had to deal with before. He could not avoid the shots, yet he kept comming forward, kept getting blasted, and kept trying to give it back, he never let up until the honey punch that put him to sleep. He showed huge heart alright, no doubt about it.

Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham remains at the top of the list and nothing else is seen even in horizon. It will remain so for centuries, decades don't count.

I think Pacquiao had his number, period, he could have fought him at any point of his career and the result would have been similar. Hatton could not avoid his shots, classic case of styles make fights.
Anyhow, well prepared or not, Hatton took some serious punishment in the short time the fight lasted, and kept on going full throttle until his lights were put out. I think he deserves a lot of credit for that, even if he was completely schooled, underprepared, or anything else.

I was listening live to Froch v Taylor and was always a big fan of Froch.
Pure drama.
Watched round 8 of Froch v Johnson earlier as it came up on my YouTube recommendations. Froch was so tough and good at fighting back after taking heavy shots. Ultimately it’s that exact quality that won him the Taylor fight as he forced Taylor to fight at such a pace that he couldn’t carry through the last round.

Yes, very brutal.
Khan losing by KO was sort of expected going into the fight though, still, i dont think anyone could have quite seen it coming in as brutal a form as it did.

It was brilliantly composed by Froch, even with the clock ticking down fast he knew he'd get him out of there.

I ordered Froch - Taylor PPV, think it was online only as I remember watching it on my tiny laptop and nearly knocking it over during the final round when I was jumping around like a lunatic

Andy Lee v John Jackson.
Lee dropped for the first time and given a bit of a boxing lesson for the next few rounds, then walks Jackson onto an absolute peach of a right hand. Epic.
EDIT: Sorry, just re-read thread title, I was a fight early with the 'world title level'!

Probably Jackson vs Herol. It came out of nowhere and Herol had almost won it. Jackson was a dangerous dude, he’s the hardest puncher I‘ve seen.
