Who is that podgy kid who always comes in the ring after Hatton wins? He holds the belt, gets in on the photos and mingles about....where does he come from?!
I think they said his name is James Bowers or something like that.

James Bowers IS his name, don't know anything else.
If I remember, Paul Dempsey said he was a big fan of Ricky's and has had a tough time of it with health problem. So Ricky gave the VIP treatment for one of his defences and now he is his official mascot.

Yeah I remember James having some health problems. I think it's very decent of Hatton to allow him to hold his belts etc. The kid looks real proud to be there, good on him.

I just wonder how the kid will react if Hatton ever gets beaten...there'll be tears before bedtime (and not just from him!).
