Sons who failed to live up to their fathers ring achievements?

Just watched the Collins v Ward fight from the Frampton undercard on BN. There must be a stack of boys who have tried to follow in their fathers footsteps and failed....
Ronald Hearns and JC Chavez Jnr Spring to mind.
How many can we get?

No ahte, but jsut want to throw one out there for the future. I don't think Conor Benn will achieve half of what his father did.
Unless he's matched carefully and fights for vacant titles etc..
I hope he does well though.

Gomez jr is still undefeated and is boxing this Friday in Leeds. I’ve watched him sparring a class amateur in York quite a lot recently. He’s in Leeds with Denzil Browne. I think he lives there now.

He won’t reach his dads level.... If he’s good enough, Denzil will get him chances through Dennis Hobson or Mark Bateson. You’d have thought he’d have more chances in Manchester. I’ll know more after speaking to people on Friday.

He needs a run of fights. He had those three with Barrett in 2015 then time off before a couple with Lindemann. A stable training team, some ring time and a few fights, and it will be easier to gauge what he can do.

Ross Minter lived the life massively, always in the gym always super fit . I wouldn’t say he failed just Didn’t achieve what he is father did.

Denzil has him and Denz Jr all over. They come to Whartons a lot and another gym in York where there is a very good kid for him to spar. He will get loads of international class sparring in Leeds at that weight (am).

He’s on the Hobson show early October, as well.
