Hi everyone, I have been tasked in finding out what the potential market would be like for those wanting to watch the WBO Flyweight title fight between Kimura and Tanaka would be.

It would be an OFFICAL and LIVE stream without COMMENTARY.

Given it will be live, the airtime would be 15:57 local time (which is 7:57 in the UK) on a Monday there is NO flexibility at all in that and it would run for ~1 hour. There is no guaranteed ability to show it on any delay either.

So is there interest on Boxrec.com?

personally i would like it, im very interested in this fight and started a thread on it, although that got i think just 1 response

in that case id defo be all for it, my only hesistation with a paid stream wouldve been being awake for it (though i am pretty motivated to see the fight so will probably make sure im ready), but if its free then hell ya

Close competitive and entertaining bout. Decision went to Tanaka but i felt like Kimura deserved it more. But i havent seen the first 4 rounds and was watching on mobile phone so maybe im wrong.

Yes that was a very enjoyable fight. But i havent seen the first 4 rounds. I thought that Kimura deserved the decision more than Tanaka, how do you think?

First 4 rounds are on that video if you want to give them a watch, the fight tarts at about the 6:20

Thought Tanaka won 116-112 or 115-113, was thinking Kimura would come on strong late and undo his good work but credit to KO Dream Boy for a great performance and a well deserved win.

The broadcaster are said to have been happy with the numbers, exceeding expectations and are interested in doing similar things in the future...

Over 11,000 views so far around 700 peak live viewers, doesn't sound like a lot but it was horrible time wise, geo locked, and featured 2 Japanese fighters that had no real buzz in the west other than amongst hardcore fans... So could have been a lot, lot worse

It was a very good fight, but I thought Tanaka won that clear. His punches looked harder and more effective.
