I remember Robbie Davies very well. He sparked an Aussie in the Montreal Olympics for one of the best knockouts of the entire Games and probably left his best form in the amateurs when he later turned pro and made it to a British title eliminator against Pat Thomas, who just had the style to beat Robbie.

He lived on the same street as my nan, he was
a nice fella, Jnr seems cut from the same cloth.
