I know he will rehydrate but probably at his age is hard to cut down the weight.

Unless someone has inside information you can never tell if someone is injured or ill. It's quite usual for a fighter to be carrying some kind of niggling injury into the fight.
I hope this will affect the result but we have seen a few fighters recently looking seriously drained with just days to go. Who knows?
Maybe GGG moves up to 168 after Saturday, maybe not.

Canelo looks healthy and Golovkin looks gaunt and drained, but appearances can be deceiving
None of this matters, since boxing is neither a beauty pageant nor a bodybuilding contest.
The only thing that matters is whether they're both feeling 100% physically fit and full of energy come fight night.

Golovkin looked no different from what he usually looks.

I was watching ESPN, and I thought the same. Golovkin looked frail. Who knows without clarification from his camp, but he does look sick.
He has come out to fight battling sickness before. I'd hate if he's coming out sick again.

Hhm, seems like the betting is closing up in Canelo's direction.
All eyes on any rumours coming out of Las Vegas. Don't want to see anything like the Pacquiao 'rotator cuff' saga again.
FWIW Canelo looking the more comfortable of the two right now. The weigh-in a few hours hence could tell us more.

I don't think it'll be an issue. I've seen guys look a hell of a lot more drained than that, and still perform exceptionally well.

You always hear about a certain fighter looking terribly gaunt or unhealthy at weigh-in.
And then they go out the next day and win. Sometimes emphatically.
I'm not saying Golovkin will, but weigh-in appearances seldom have any bearing on the fight's outcome.

Lemieux comes in at 160 and starts immediately taking on board liquid. Rehydration is the name of the game.
Just minutes to go before we find out what Canelo and Golovkin will weigh in at. Is Canelo really smaller as Teddy Atlas claims?
