IBF Bantamweight title eliminator, is now apparently taking place on the Alvarado Vs Petalcorin under-card in the Philippines. Not seen TOO much of the Filipino, and not been hugely impressed by what I have seen, but home advantage and with Haskins' age he has a slight chance. The winner will have to wait for the WBSS before getting a crack at the title though.

That's a trip and a half for Lee - he's not shy of travelling. Was trying to think of the last British professional fighter to fight in the Philippines, whether for a title or not. Any answers?

Reminds me of when Damean Kelly travelled to Columbia to challenge Irene Pacheco for his title.

Cant think of any brit fighter fighting in the philliphines

I was wondering when Haskins would be out again, it’s a very winnable fight although he would probably be better served taking the decision out of the judges hands...
