I'd actually prefer it to be in Ireland. Would be wonderful to see Fury knocked out in front of his home audience

Vegas or LA, Fury has zero chances to get a decision.

He won't make it the distance.

Yes, why should Fury worry about a decision?

If he makes it halfway through against Wilder, it'll be a victory for him.

I don't care where it's held. As long as they fight this year

With no gambling to lure the curious and high rollers, Los Angeles would seem to be an unwise location for this fight.

Wilder and Fury aren't exactly household names in the SoCal market.

Except for a flood of visiting Brits, Staples Center might barely be half full.

This is a Latino town so there better be plenty Mexicans on the undercard if Warren/ Haymon/Finkel want to avoid the embarrassing spectacle of a near lifeless arena.

Maybe De La Hoya could rent out the services of Canelo-Lemeiux as a co-main event to help fill the place.

It will be Staples Center in LA because Fury wanted to have choice over the judges. In Vegas the commission selects them.

I had read that the arenas in Las Vegas simply weren't available on either December 1 or 8.

Fury should refuse to fight in Vegas.

No chance will he get the decision there. He might as well enter the fight with 4 points deducted.

LA, touch and go. Americans love their robberies but it's a less corrupt venue than Vegas.

Neither are A side fighters.
And lets be honest the scorecards in England today were more crooked than Vegas

Yeah true. England can be just as bad. But, the bad decisions, early stoppages etc do seem largely kept to Hearn's fighters.

In Vegas though I just see Fury getting completely screwed. LA might be fairer. Ideally I'd like a neutral venue. Saudi Arabia or Dubai but there's zero chance of that happening.

Excellent point.

Povetkin clearly won 3 rounds.

Biased scoring can be found in any state, city or country.

And some scoring is just unexplainable with probably no corrupt intent involved.

Wilder is hardly Mr. Money or Mr. Boxing in the US. Maybe in Alabama, but in the other 49 states, he's not exactly a household name.

I doubt that Nevada or California officials would go out of their way to protect Wilder.

He's simply not box office.

I always remember when Lewis was clearly robbed against Holyfield in their first fight.

It seemed like a pretty cut and dry decision, but ended in a draw.

An American robbery? Quién sabé. But don't forget that the deciding ballot was cast by a British judge.

He scored it even.

Who knows why judges score the way they do.
