His Twitter is alarming. He's so touchy about the smallest things and always ends up indirectly threatening people. He has no respect for the fans opinions and seems to forget that without fans, the sport is nothing.

I get it that people tweet stuff that isn't to everyone's taste but some stuff isn't even that bad and he's talking about 'saying it to his face' etc. It's weird. He's a married man, with children and in his late thirties... totally inexcusable.

I know he used to post on here but I can't remember much of him from then.

Not to be too Freud but I find that attitude comes from inner frustration and unhappiness.

Sure he had a decent enough career and got shots he never earned but two things - he thought he was even better than all of that, and gets fcked off that in a complete reversal, people think he was not even as good as all that.

So he fires as he feels like he is not given the respect he feels he deserves while fans think he gets more credit than he was worth

I always remember Paul Smith speaking well on here, Bellew too, shame they left, they got run off a bit, folk weren't too respectful to them. I didn't see it as them being as being thin skinned, more that they couldn't be bothered with the nonsense.

I've met paul a few times as he used to go to the same gym as me around this time last year, had a good chat wit him about boxing and the footy for a good half hour once and he was just a down to earth fella to me. He was chatting to everyone like a normal fella there was no hint of arrogance or anything like that from him. He does argue with people on twitter but he does get alot of shit on there so half the time i dont blame him for giving it back. Weirdly enough i seem to have a habit of bumping into boxers from liverpool I've met callum smith rocky fielding derry matthews and Pricey aswell and all of them have been really sounnd fellas who make time for anone who wants a chat. Don't really understand the shit some scouse boxers get on here to be honest.
