I rate him and I’d actually want him to win against Joshua BUT....

The, ‘so what, Fury would beat him anyway’ that gets trotted out after yet another Joshua win is getting tiresome.

Does anyone else actually want to see Fury fight top heavyweight, and regularly at that, as opposed to some mythical nonsense? Wlad is the only top 10 Heavyweight Fury has ever fought. It’s getting ridiculous.

Strange criticism for me. He’s been out two years, dispatched with his comebacks well enough and walked into the biggest fight available for him. I have no problem with that at all.

No one thought he'd beat Wlad

Few think he'll beat wilder

Same sh*t different day for fury, if he's game & match fit , his boxing and ring iq will be far to much for wilder

Agreed

People seem to underestimate Fury because he looks so awkward. But, it's that awkward style that makes him such a tough opponent.

He's a very good boxer. Uses his size well, can fight different stances, good ring IQ, can fight different ways if the fight isn't going his way, very quick feet, fast hands, doesn't get hit too often, good jab, good movement. Fights a style different than most other heavyweights.

I'm baffled why so many people think he's shit. Boring to watch yes. But for me, the most difficult fighter to face in the heavyweight division because his style is so different and awkward to everyone else.

Really his only negatives are an average chin and he doesn't pack the sort of power a guy his size should.

I think the biggest question is going to be , has he been trained and prepared for Wilder , well enough , his new coach said he's managing to change a few things , is he DON'T KNOW , but if he is , he wants to change them back , Furys size , mobility and ackwardness are his biggest attributes , try and turn him into a conventional boxer , and he'll start losing

I agree 100% about the Wilder fight. I’d back a prime on form Fury to stop Wilder late.

It’s frustrating that for all his talent and potential, he’s only faced Wlad. Hopefully this Wilder fight is the new approach.
Wouldn’t put it past him to beat Wilder then hit a bum of the month campaign.

Wilder will spark him out inside 6.

I believe, Fury will beat anyone today. Fury is the most elusive boxer on the current scene, he can frustrate and outbox anybody including Wilder and Joshua leaving them only puncher's chances. Wilder and Joshua have being outboxed respectively by older and smaller Ortiz and Povetkin. Fury is harder to hit, than those two, and he's young, his stamina is still with him.

Fury will be easy to hit for Joshua. He’s a big target and nowhere near this defensive wizard that people love to make out.

He's mouthing off again just coming across as bitter.

He has a big fight coming up. Keep quiet and make sure you turn up,

Win and you are the man again. He needs to focus on what he is doing not what Joshua is doing.

I don't think so, cause Joshua either hits, when he's totaly sure in the success, or aggressively spurts, when boxing tactics goes wrong. Fury won't let Joshua be sure in his actions. And wild attacks aren't good against slick boxers. Attacks of elusive targets should be elusive themselves.

Fury might be young on paper - he’s had 2-3 years of abusing his body with everything - we don’t actually know what he has left as he’s boxed 2 bin men so far in his comeback.

Fury’s equally been on deck before as well - from Cunningham - let’s see what he’s like if Wilder really catches him.

He opens his mouth to keep himself relevant - he had the lot and blew it.

I won't take Cunningham knockdown as a big argument, cause Fury started that fight in a too cocky and thus irrational way. He won't fight Wilder or Joshua like that.

He didn’t have uncle Peter with him to reign him in against Cunningham. I still think Peter not being there is going to be a big factor when he fights Wilder/someone with a pulse.

Yeah, I'm also worried about possible negative aspect of Peter's absence. I hope, Fury and his new team know, what they're doing. For the moment, everything seems ok. They must remain on the correct track.

Joshua won’t be as tentative as Klitschko and I can’t see Fury hurting him. I see a stoppage around 7-9 once Fury’s legs tire. He’ll have to work much harder than he has done before because Joshua and McCracken will be ready for his tactics. They came as a bit of a surprise to Wlad who was confused by the approach and one of the reasons I backed him in the rematch.

Although I can see him trying to learn away from a Wilder straight and being KTFO. After that, he’ll walk away from boxing.
