vitali so overrated

I'd pick Vitali. Klitschko wouldn't have been an easy target for Joshua due to his awkwardness and size. Vitali's jab would have been better for sure, he had a one of the most frustrating jabs ever and a one of the most brilliant one-twos. Even if Joshua landed, he wouldn't be able to knock Vitali down, cause Vitali's chin was ridiculously hard. It could have been a Lewis-like close fight early, but Klitschko would have taken over in the second half with the volume of his punches. I'd say, either decision for Vitali or late KO/TKO for Vitali.

I still haven't seen enough game from AJ yet to believe he could beat Vitali. I'd agree with the Dr. ^

Vitali beats Joshua (based on the versions stipulated). The Brit will inevitably improve though, so it's entirely possible that AJ will be deemed as being (from a historical perspective) as the better fighter.

Ony time will tell.

AJ wouldn't knock Vitali out.

So, depends on the venue. In England, Vitali would get robbed. He could win 9 rounds and AJ would still get the nod.

In a neutral venue, Vitali wins comfortably.

Either Klitchko would absolutely take AJ to school.

Imo AJ vs Wlad fight proved us that prime Wlad was better than AJ. And i think that Vit was even better than Vova. Of course Vit and Wlad had different styles, i think that Vit style is a nightmare for Joshua. Big, hard punching, jab using fighter with fantastic chin. Prime AJ vs prime Wlad is in my opinion 65-35 for Wlad with AJ having punchers chance but against Vit ill give him 10% at best. So either Vit by wide decision or by late stoppage.

Remember, Joshua is still actually a work in progress.

He isn't knocking Vitali out, so his only chance of victory is via decision.

Don't see in any way how Joshua would be competitive. He'll never have Vitali's boxing brain and he's even less fluid and also lacks Vitali's stamina. Most likely a mercy stoppage by round 10. I don't see how Vitali could miss.
