"Factor X" in boxing

Very few boxers have this quality. It is almost impossible to explain, even for the experts. Of course it is connected with the skillset, but it is not the same, it is much more than the skillset.
I have to mention Lomachenko, Usyk, Crawford, Spence, Mayweather.
Genetics ? What do you think ?

I'd say the most important thing is the Discipline to put the work in that it takes to become Elite. Most people simply don't have that kinda drive to be truly GREAT at anything. It takes a special kinda mindset to live and breathe something the way you have to, to become great at it.

Being gifted with natural speed and reflexes is also something you can't teach, and is definitely an enormous asset for the guys that are lucky enough to have it.
