I'd love for him to fight Zurdo Ramirez. Ramirez has been fighting soft opposition all throughout his reign. Or at least on the softer side, he did have a tough night with Jesse Hart, but Callum would be by far his toughest test to date.
I suppose Benavidez is out of the shuffle for a while after the positive Cocaine test huh?

Degale well past his best and an easy night for Smith .
It's unusual for there not to be any countrymen to challenge him , but the super middleweight scene is a bit poor at the moment .

Not sure. There probably wouldn't be a lot of good reason to financially. Winning this Tournament has kinda made him the guy to beat at the weight, and I imagine he'd be a bigger draw in the U.K. than Zurdo would be in the U.S.

Cost Hearn a fortune
Degale might fancy a cash out.

Enforce the WBC mandatory. Get that belt at all costs. Then procede with going after the other two.

It’s been almost an hour, has CEJ asked for the fight yet?

Ramirez at Anfield.
As a Liverpool fan I'm assuming (and hoping) the club wouldn't allow boxing at the ground. It is a football ground, and they spent a fortune renovating the pitch.

The club have now got approval for boxing events.

Next will probably be a voluntary in Liverpool or Manchester. Then it will be a big fight in Anfield in the summer next year. They have a small window when it comes to Premier League grounds.

Zurdo won't be allowed to take the risk. Callum is bigger and Zurdo struggles with little fellas with marginal skills.
Love to see it though!!
Expect Bob to keep Zurdo under his pettycoats forever...

Callum vs Degale is probably gonna be the go to match I'd figure. It should be the easiest to make.

Oh mate!
The British SMW scene right now is awesome. Best country in the world.
Groves, Smith, Eubank, Ryder, Fielding... Have you ever had
5 names like that all at once?
Edit: OK I should also mention Degale
That's 5 in the top ten, 6 in the top 20 and Parker coming up- I rate him

My guess is he headlines in Liverpool early next year with Fielding as chief support. Would have guessed DeGale for Smith but after seeing that I get the feeling DeGale might prefer the Eubank fight, which would rule those 2 out. Can't see a unification with Ramirez/Benaavidez/Uzcategui (or a fight with Fielding) straight away.
Could see Rocky vs an Abraham/Feigenbutz/Yildirim type.

I'm guessing his next 3 will be Degale, rematch vs Fielding and either Eubank or Ramirez if Ramirez doesn't pull a quack.

Well done to him. I figured he would find his calling, vs Groves. He’s composed and generates a lot of power - to both head and body. Groves has been very dominant in recent good performances. But I feel his accomplished and sometimes safe style was being used to hide his own vulnerabilities.
Most didn’t feel Froch would progress to the next level after domestic and Euro opponents and the consensus on here seemed to be the same with Smith. I think in both cases the Brit/Euro level fights weren’t the biggest motivator and they needed a challenge to put all their offensive skills together.
How odd that Smith v Skoglund would prove to be the fight of the tournament.
Probably voluntary, then mandatory. Then a fight against a name highly ranked in the WBC. An Anthony Dirrell type. Someone good, who doesn’t get too many breaks.
Smith just won the final so it’s not necessary to go in for the biggest name or risk just yet. He won’t be short of challengers calling him out because he just won a serious prize in the Super 6 final.
Would be massive wouldn’t it if one of the top 160-pounders couldn’t make weight any more, or decided a move up was the next step following a setback...

It's either Fielding in a easy to sell rematch at the ehco arena to pick up another strap or its James Degale in another PPV

Degale v Eubank seems nailed on, winner of that v Fielding then Smith gets the fight at Anfield.

Why not to unify? Groves fight didn't seem to take too much from Smith, so probably it's a good idea to go for the other titles now. WBC challenge is the most approachable for him.

Fieldings belt is worthless to Smith though and the first fight ended very one sided, can't see Smith wanting that,Eubank jnr would sell easily,He would beat DeGale no problem at this stage.
