A prime Gene Tunney against these boxers in their primes. ---------- Jack Dempsey (many say that Jack was out of his prime when he fought Gene), James J. Jeffries, Jack Johnson, Joe Jeannette, Sam Langford, Sam McVey, and Harry Wills.

1. Do you see Tunney beating these boxers? If not, which of those boxers could have beaten Gene Tunney? Why?

Please explain.

In the case of Jeffries & Johnson (especially) are we talking 15 rounds? 20 rounds? 45 rounds?

I think Tunney would have outboxed Jeffries. The black fighters are harder to pick because we have less info on them. But he could probably beat at least some of them. I think Gene was very underrated.
