Well, he was clearly in the wrong division last night. I think he's good to watch, and didn't even know he'd made a comeback until I checked the BoxRec schedule.

But where is he going? What is he aiming for? I think a big fight at domestic level in a lighter division could be on the cards, maybe half-way through next year. Dale Robinson at bantam? 8)

He made his comeback against another comeback kid, Danny Costello, earlier in the year. That was an awful fight, you should be glad you missed it.

I'm not sure how much Napa has got left, after so long out it'll take ages for him to shake off the rust, and get going again. I think it'll be much easier to see where he's headed and if he's going to be able to make any sort of noise after a few more contests. You're right though, he's fighting too high up, he should be a bantam at the very most.

Napa was a great talent,who unfortunately was just too small and didn't hit hard enough.Great skills.
But he seemed to believe he was destined to be something big,and when it didn't go his way,what happened? He got fat.

I don't mean to be rude,but you can't make a comeback after being a former 'star',looking like that.That to me,tells me that he's not dedicated enough to fulfill any potential he has left.

Very angered by what I saw last night. Napa should be fighting at Bantamweight (at least) and he promised that his life was turned round and that you wouldn't see him at Super Bantam again (the weight he was for Costello for those who didn't see the fight).

Then he comes in at Featherweight, is he taking the piss or something.

We say Napa has got no punch, well he is about two stone overweight.

Perhaps he's joining Spencer Oliver and Nicky Piper in this charity pie eating contest.

Napa has had one hard fight and really should be creating alot of buzz at the flyweight/Bantam limit. He won't do a thing at feather. Disgraceful really.

He's a professional boxer.One that supposedly aspires to get to the top.He should show dedication.

I don't think Napa was ever the great boxer people are saying on here, lets not forget he got comprehensively outboxed by Jason Booth who always had a gear left. Maybe his style was suited to the amateurs but Robinson,Power,Wilders are gonna be contestingb the british and commonwealth titles over the next 6 months, maybe another 3 fights round 8st 8-9 and he could get in the mix by next summer but expect Robinson to take over the division.

I agree, Wilders is probably on the decline, Armour looks likely to have retired (although there was some talk a few weeks back).

I would say Robinson is the favourite to take over the devision.

However, in defence of Napa he was just a pup when he fought Booth and if I remember rightly I thought it was more due to stamina issue than skill level which cost him. Obviously the Kid had some problems, otherwise he wouldn't have stayed out for years so perhaps this affected him prior to Booth.

I think Dale would do a number on Napa, although I think if Napa dedicated himself to make Bantamweight I'd tip him to take Power now. The devision isn't the strongest and should Dale opt out of any domestic clash for a belt (whether it is IBO, Commonwealth or whatever). I think Napa would stand a good chance there.

I only echo everyones sentiments about Napa's weight. The only thought that comes into my mind that could possibly justify him coming in at 9st 3lbs is maybe matching him is a problem, Gethin is all they could get and therefore told Napa to come in heavy. Unlikely, but maybe there's something in it.

Yes Ian should be down at fly/bantam.

He was rushed far too quickly in his first period as a pro. Lose to Booth (Jason, he beat Nicky) clearly, then sling him in with the even more experienced Peter Culshaw.

If Napa can get serious and his team build him up more patiently and not just grab the first pay day he has a future in the British title scene in my opinion. A fully fit and prepared Napa would give Dale Robinson a smashing contest.

Good point on Spencer Oliver Stu, he seems to get fatter everytime i see him, he is a right little bloater nowadays!!
